  • The Platform will be structured as an autonomous vehicle with dedicated resources and the ambition to gradually building the capacity to handle the origination, development, and operations of toll road and bridge infrastructure assets.
  • At inception, AMC will inherit one operational asset (Senegambia) and Africa50’s existing pipeline of toll road projects
  • AMC will build on the Senegambia bridge asset recycling project’ success and leverage ongoing engagement with other governments to continue the development of other projects.
  • AMC will also leverage A50 government relationships to target other greenfield and asset-recycling opportunities.

Development and proper maintenance of road transport assets is core to the realization of the objectives and goals of the AfCFTA, which AMC strongly supports.
The implementation of a toll road platform will benefit African governments by providing a sustainable funding model to support new infrastructure development or improve existing ones.
