Description

Africa50 Mobility is a specialized infrastructure platform launched by Africa50 to develop, finance and operate road and bridge infrastructure assets across Africa.

Africa50 Mobility supports public sector stakeholders by mobilizing private capital for transport infrastructure, improving service quality and unlocking value through asset recycling. Development and proper maintenance of those assets will provide African governments with a sustainable funding model to support new infrastructure development or improve existing ones.

The Africa50 Mobility platform seeks to accelerate deployment of toll roads by structuring bankable projects and creating a robust pipeline of transport infrastructure assets.

Purpose of the Role

The Processes and Execution Director plays a key strategic and governance role within Africa50 Mobility’s portfolio companies and projects. He/ She will serve as the primary interface between the Africa50 Mobility and key Africa50 Group functions as well as other Africa50 Group entities. The role is designed to ensure smooth coordination, timely communication, and strategic alignment across internal stakeholders, supporting the effective execution of the platform’s objectives.

The role will also include coordination of all governance activities between Africa50 Mobility and its subsidiaries and portfolio companies.

The Processes and Execution Director will report to the Executive Director,

Principal Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for interactions between the Mobility Platform and Africa50 Group functions (ESG, HR, IT, Risk, Legal, Investor Relations, etc.).
  • Monitor and follow up on action items from meetings with group functions and ensure timely execution.
  • Facilitate the implementation of cross-functional processes and ensure alignment with group policies and standards.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate Africa50 Mobility governance activities such as internal reviews, operational meetings, retreats, etc.
  • Drive and continuously improve the framework of Africa50 Mobility activities management (KPIs, Processes, operational reviews, etc.) through the development of a comprehensive quality management system.
  • Support the Executive Director in tracking and reporting on strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
  • Track and follow up on the contribution of Africa50 Mobility Corporate objectives and its contribution to the defined Africa50 Group Corporate objectives through recommendations and actionable content for the Africa50 Mobility team
  • Monitor the execution of Africa50 Mobility commitments towards external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify key market trends and the relevant partnerships that need to be established.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of communication strategies to ensure the valorization and visibility of Africa50 Mobility projects impacts and
    achievements.
  • Define the events attendance policy and the main events to attend.

 CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Affairs, Communications, or a related field.
• +15years of relevant experience in corporate affairs, strategy & communications, stakeholder engagement in a large multinational finance institution or public/private organization.
• Experience working with senior leadership and managing internal communications and reporting.

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of corporate governance and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with ESG, HR, IT, Risk, Legal, and Investor Relations functions.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong connection to Africa and intent to pursue an Africa focused career
• Ability to define and implement communication strategies.
• Ability to define and implement activities management.
• Understanding and Ability to define and deploy quality a management system and a risks framework
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to implement and monitor.

LOCATION

The position is based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, with travel across Africa as required.
